Playwright, political thinker and photographer, George Bernard Shaw was a man of many talents with acquaintances from every walk of life. But did you know he was also the first person to win both a Nobel Prize and an Oscar? You may know him as the original creator behind Covent Garden's most famous flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, but he was so much more than just a playwright. Intrigued? Why not join us for a whistlestop journey through his life, the collection he left to the National Trust, and hear an excerpt from one of his plays performed, script-in-hand, by the volunteers of Shaw's Corner.
