Roger Knight had the good fortune to grow up at a time when it was still possible, with sympathetic employers, to combine the two great callings of his life:playing cricket each summer and teaching in schools in the winter terms. In 'Boundaries' he tells the story of his life, looking back with a gentle, often self-deprecating humour on his days as a cricketer/schoolmaster, then examining in detail some of the key issues that MCC faced during his time as Secretary/Chief Executive. He concludes the book by reflecting on his Christian faith and reproducing some of the witty dinner graces for which he is famous.
