A forty year old divorced programmer, leaves Warsaw for Prague to visit his seriously ill father. His journey begins in the darkness, cold and silence of an almost deserted train station. Early hour, old carriages, long corridors and a rude waitress in wars do not improve his mood. In the compartment, where fatigue soon sets in, he is tormented by strange dreams and unpleasant memories return. To drive them away, he starts walking between the cars, watching other passengers. When he starts making contact with them, things take an unexpected turn.
