'Ghost Stories' was first performed at the Liverpool Playhouse in February 2010 before transferring to the Lyric Hammersmith in London, and then to the Duke of York's Theatre in the West End where it played from June 2010 to July 2011. It returned to the West End in 2014, before touring Australia. A film version was released in 2017, starring Andy Nyman, Paul Whitehouse, Alex Lawther and Martin Freeman. This edition of the play is published alongside its return to the Lyric Hammersmith in 2019.
